Cathedral Basilica of St Louis
The Cathedral Basilica is the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. This beautiful superstructure was built between 1907 and 1914 and having stood for over one hundred years, it is clear to see why it is such a significant sight in the city. It is known for its beautiful interior mosaics, mosaics that took over forty-one million pieces of glass to make across the span of eighty years, putting the cathedral first for the largest mosaic collection in the Western Hemisphere.
